Friends of Sports is a dynamic group of UHS parents whose shared passion for athletics and school spirit brings both fun and invaluable support to the University High School athletic community. From event planning to photography, and collaborating with team parents, Friends of Sports makes a tangible difference in creating memorable experiences for our student-athletes and fans alike.

Our athletic department partners closely with Friends of Sports to bring events like Chase Day, Oracle Day, the Athletics Awards Gala, and Team Parent Trainings to life. These parent volunteers bring positive energy, camaraderie, and an unmatched enthusiasm that fosters appreciation and pride in UHS athletics. By organizing events and cheering on our teams, Friends of Sports helps make each season a celebration of teamwork and Red Devil pride.

Friends of Sports members gather monthly to review recent highlights, share ideas, and plan ahead for upcoming events and initiatives. It’s a fun, hands-on way to connect with other UHS parents, engage with the athletic program, and enhance the experience for everyone involved.
